Frequently Asked
Questions and Answers

On this page you'll find frequently asked questions and answers about Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Products. If there is any information you are searching for on this site and cannot find it, just ask! Please use the form below to ask your question.

Q. How does Soap Free Procyon work?

A. Procyon is formulated with natural degreasers, a water softening agent and a detergent-free booster which dissolve and emulsifies soil and contaminants which can be removed in the cleaning process. Because Procyon is soap and detergent free, it works to breakdown detergent residue from previous cleanings. Since there is no soap or detergent to leave behind toxic and unhealthy dirt attracting residue, your carpet stays cleaner longer, feels softer and dries more
quickly.

Q. What can I clean with Procyon?

A. Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Products can clean carpet, upholstery, tile & grout, and other hard surfaces. Product and application details can be found for all the Procyon cleaning products in the Product Store.

Q. Is Procyon safe for people and pets?

A. All Procyon cleaning products are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, odor free and contains no Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's). The result is a healthier cleaning product that's effective on dirt yet safe for the user, building occupant and is environmentally responsible.

Q. What certifications does Procyon have?

A.  Each Procyon product has been independently tested, approved and certified. Third party certifications include Green Seal, the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI) and Woolsafe. Procyon is Indoor Air Quality Approved and approved by major carpet manufacturers such as Dupont, Monsanto, Allied Fibers, Collins and Aikman and Shaw Industries. In fact Procyon products carry more certifications than any other product of its kind.

Q. There are other "detergent free products" on the market. Are all these products the same as Procyon?

A. Beware of imitators trying to copy the power and performance of Soap Free Procyon. Some imitators lack the testing, certification, indoor air quality validation and carpet manufacturer endorsement that Procyon has earned. Some Procyon users have tried the "other" brands but always return to Procyon - the original and best soap free detergent free carpet cleaning product.

Q. Where can Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Products be purchased?

A. Procyon cleaning products can only be purchased by authorized distributors. This website provides an internet presence for Select Solution Distribution, an authorized distributor for Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Products. Located outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, we have been a distributor since 2006, and carry the full line of Procyon cleaning products. We will ship anywhere in the world.
