Does Procyon work similar to an encapsulation chemical, and does it break loose previous detergent residue only using hot water extraction method?

How does Procyon work?

Great 2 part question! Let me address the second part of your question first. Unsigned writes: "does it break loose previous detergent residue only using hot water extraction method?"

All the Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Products will remove previous detergent residue using the Soap Free Procyon as a pre-spray and then extracting with a hot water extraction process.

Depending on the concentration of detergent residue found in the carpet, it may take a few cleanings with Procyon to completely remove all the detergent residue.

Now to address the first part of the question, unsigned writes: "Does Procyon work similar to an encapsulation chemical?"

The Soap Free Procyon Cleaning Product "Procyon Extreme!" can be used as an encapsulation chemical. You can find product specs at carpet cleaning solution .

Hope this helps.
